Fender 1996 50th Anniversary American Standard Jazz Bass V Body w/ 2008 American Std Jazz Bass Neck

This bass is amazing!!! 

It has a 1996 Fender 50th Anniversary American Standard Jazz Bass® V body with a sexy Flame Maple veneer on the top and back and a beautiful Antique Burst finish (Fender told me that there were only about 500 of these made). It has an un-serialized 2008 American Standard Jazz Bass V neck (odd, but it is in original condition, has not been refinished and was probably a replacement). 

The body would have originally had a 3-Ply White pickguard on it and gold hardware, but I think it looks killer with this Tortoise Shell pickguard and chrome hardware. It has all 1990's American Standard 5-String hardware and electronics in it. 

Obviously, as it is not 100% original, it is not a collector’s piece, but it if you're really looking for a great instrument to play and play-ability, sound and looks are the most important things, check it out. 

The body is like new and the neck is like new with no appreciable wear. It pays great, feels great and sounds great and is really enjoyable to play. The 50th Anniversary body alone would have sold for $500 in its day and I’m selling the complete package for $899. 

There is the tiniest dint in the body, which I’ve tried like mad to capture in a picture, but it’s so imperceptible that I can’t pick it up on a camera.
