History Of The "Copicat Re-Issue"

Sales History

• Launched for sale 28 Oct 2005
• Sales ceased between Oct-Dec 2007
• Thus it was available for only 2 years
• Built to order only

Production History

• Succeeded the "Shadow" Model
• Continued where the "Super Shadow" left off
• Units were mainly made to order
• Continual prototyping thus variant models
• Known as the "cooker style" Copicat

Why This Copicat Is The Ultimate One To Own

What Made It Different

• Incorporated the best knowledge to date

Echo Head Selector

• 6 Heads creating 6 channels of echo
• Each echo channel individually mutable
• Each echo channel has a "Definitive Sustain Repeat" (DSR) function Between switching on/off each of the 6 heads and DSR you have 12 ways to control the echo

• The last 4 replay heads have individual level controls which are found above the input jacks to the left side of the face. This boosts head level & feedback
• The two input jacks below with individual attenuators can be boosted to harmonic distortion, as with all Copicat echo units.

Definitive Sustain Repeater (DSR)

• Only appears on this [analogue] model
• Re-creates that perfect "Shadows" sound
• DSR on each echo head
• Provides 36 echo sustain/repeat variants

Possibilities

• Echo head selector allows for 36 (6x6) variants
• Definitive Sustain Repeater (DSR) also has 36 variants
• Thus 1296 (36x36) possible echo variants!!!!
