Here we have a pre owned LTD by ESP TA-200 Tom Araya signature 4- string bass. Tom Araya is the lead singer and bass player for Slayer. The TA-200 is a bolt on solid body design. Basswood body. 35' scale length so its perfect for lower tunings. The bass is loaded with EMG/ESP pickups. Controls are Volume, Blend, and Tone. The fingerboard is Rosewood with Araya inlay on the 12th fret. Pentagram inlays on the rest. The bass weighs 8lbs 8oz.
The bass has just been setup by our technician and is playing great. It is strung with 45-100's. The neck is straight and the truss rod is working perfectly. The frets are in very good condition with tons of life left in them. No visible divots.
Cosmetically, the bass is full of bumps and bruises. There are marks, scuffs, scratches, and dings. There are a few paint chips that the previous owner seems to have covered with what looks like nail polish. The horns have chips as well as the bottom of the bass. It is definitely not case queen. It has been played and loved but kept in good working order. The headstock has some marks on it as well. There are some light scratches on the back of the neck but nothing that will hang you up while playing. The bass is all original with no modifications.
