Mosrite "The Ventures Model" Made in Japan Moseley Vibrato

Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a Mosrite The Ventures model from the 80's Made in Japan in excellent playable condition and 100% original.  This 80's MIJ Iteration of the venerable The Ventures Model is a wonderful reissue of a tmie when Semi Mosley rebranded the Vibromute as a "Moseley" Vibrato.  It was a short lived period for Mosrite tha lives on in this reissue. 

The aluminum nut measures 1.6" and is set up on a zero fret like Mosrites tend to be.   It a svelty C carve neck measuring .82" at the first fret and .88 at the 12th with moderate shoulder and great access.  Basswood body, maple neck, and a delicious dark Rosewood fretboard adorned with the graceful tiny dots Mosrites are known for.  Very elegant against the black body.  The neck is straight, the truss rod works and no surprises there.  It's a fairly faithful reissue. 8.6 lbs.

The pickups have plenty of character with ample bark in the mids, warm and smooth highs, and a round bottom.  You want to play surf music as soon as you plug it in.  Very inspiring.  The neck reads 9.09 ohms and the Bridge tachs in at 9.42 ohms.  Comes safely packed and fully insured in the non original gig bag in the photos.   Exact manufacturer is not known and there is no serial number.
