This is a Deering Eagle II 5 string banjo originally purchased, we believe, in 2016. It has been upgraded, or customized with the addition of a Sullivan rim and tone ring. This is about a $500 upgrade. For more info you can go to the Sullivan Banjo web site

It was owned by a home hobbyist and we're told, only played in the home and never out on a job. It has also been upgraded with the 5th string rails at frets 7, 9 & 11 and the work appears to have been professionally done. The only fret wear I can see is on the first four frets and it's very minimal.

This is a professional grade USA made banjo. The neck is straight and the string action is very low for easy playing. It comes with the Deering hard shell case and the Deering leather strap. It also comes with a Snark tuner that you see in the picture. The gentleman who owned this previously had a number of banjos but this was his favorite.

The shipping price includes full insurance for the amount you pay so you're fully covered. Please contact me with questions. I'm not a banjo expert but I'm happy to try to answer your questions. The price listed is for shipping east of the Mississippi. If you live west of there you will need to get me an additional $40 for shipping.

Thanks for having a look.

peace,

Don
