Vintage 90's USA made Phantom guitars.(note: this is not a 60's vox, it is that shape-Vox were made in Italy back then/very poorly made) Very unique guitar that was a one owner, collector, not really played, lived its life in the beautiful coffin case. Have this one and a red one on Reverb. Vox made these in the 60's during the beatles/stones era and they used these type guitars back then, most famously Brian Jones used one alot w the Stones. Interesting story of the designer/owner/builder, he bought the Name Vox Phantom back in the 80s's and started building these great guitars. Not much is known about them but were built in very small quantities, folks speculate less than a 1000. These models have 3 single coils, Phantom designed bridge and Tremolo. maple neck, beautiful rosewood board, roller nut, vintage tint maple neck. Very lightweight, sounds and plays great, no issues and cooler than pics show. Apparantly, still available website listed below.
