1963 Fender Jazz Bass Sunburst w Original Case Blue Oyster Cult
Original 1963 Fender Jazz Bass in original Sunburst previously owned by Danny Miranda of Blue Oyster Cult.
Bass has a killer neck and superb playability. Neck is nice and straight with a good low action and no buzz or issues. Action is perfect and it is super vibrant and resonant. Nice and light, too.
Features original Sunburst finish. Signs of wear and dings to the finish throughout, all honest gigging wear. The logo on the headstock looks like it has been over sprayed.
Pickups are Lollar Jazz Bass pickups. They sound fantastic, pots are newer as well. Tuners are original but for one that is a hipshot drop D tuner. All of which could be restored to original, but we left it as is due to the provenance of the bass.
A wonderful vintage original pre-CBS jazz bass for a nice price.
Comes with original hardshell case.
