This clarinet is in very good condition with signs of wear from usage over the years. Some pads look a bit old but there is no rips or tears seen. Corking on the instrument is a bit worn but is also in decent shape. Keys has a decent amount of wear shown. Bell of the clarinet has a large crack but has no affect on playability. Comes in a leather hard shell case as well as the original mouthpiece. The Selmer Paris Series 9* is one of the best performance vintage clarinets on the market. This model was manufactured in France in the early 1960s and offers a modern bore design providing a big enough sound. Grenadilla wood was used for the body. The Series 9* is extremely responsive and produces a warm, rich tone that any player will love. Great option for any musician that is looking for an upgrade or for a secondary instrument.
