8-Note Marimba by Kallisti Percussion
Chromatic key of G major
includes a pair of mallets by Innovative Percussion IP240
21"L x 14"W x 7"T

Great for the classroom, a Sound Healing or your percussion collection.

Made by the now defunct company Kallisti Percussion. Marimba making at its finest! Each was individually crafted by hand from carefully selected woods, such as maple, birch, cherry, and padauk, to enhance tonality and is custom tuned to a Peterson model 520 stroboscope tuner to assure tone and pitch quality. Each and every Kallisti instrument received a fine finish that brought out the distinctive qualities of the woods that were used.

Please note - there is some minor scuffing. I've lightly cleaned the instrument and added linseed oil and finished it with beeswax and orange oil.

Since the Kallisti marimba is tuned to the G major scale, it is ideal to play along with stringed instruments such as guitar, violin, viola, cello, double bass or mandolin.
