Smitty Guitars combines modern technology with old-school craftsmanship, using the finest tonewoods. For this Model 3, builder Eric Smid went all out with an alder body in a beautiful Candy Apple Red finish, and a quilted maple neck with ziricote fingerboard. The matte finish and C profile make for a comfortable playing experience in the process.
Tonally, this Smitty is also in good shape, as the guitar is equipped with two Lollar Imperial humbuckers housed in the tortoise pickguard. The volume and tone controls here, together with the three-way switch, provide extensive tonal variation. Finally, the guitar is also equipped with a Gotoh tremolo.
This 2023 Smitty Model 3 has light play marks on the pickguard and body, but is otherwise exceptionally clean. The guitar comes with TFOA passport in a hardshell case by Hiscox.
