1994 Ibanez Custom Shop Japan RG Series RG570MH MOD

Northwest Vintage Guitar is very proud to present a one of a kind Ibanez Custom Made in Japan RG570MH MOD that is incredible all the way around.  Body is a solid Mahogany back with an incredible top.  We're not exactly sure what species we are looking at here but our guess is two different species of Mahogany.  It's a Maple "Wizard" neck and all gold Gotoh hardare and locking nut.  It's all RG570 except for the two piece body and the RG527 electronic components.  It was made in 1994 in the famed Fujigen factory and the craftsmanship shows. 

The pickups are the V7 Neck at 9.10 ohms, S1 Middle at 9.10 ohms, and the V8 Bridge at 15.11 ohms.  The bridge can give you a bright and forthright high drive sound with a very nice breakup that cleans up well.  The Neck and middle are much more of a modern tonality that's very warm and subtly bright but still possessing overtones of vintage instrument.  It does the edge of breakup thing well. 

The Floyd Rose Low Pro Bridge is fantastic.  By 1994 they had a lot figured out and this version works flawlessly and keeps tune very well.  It is set up to go up and down a long long ways but stays tucked down out of the way in the body rout.  Very comfy FR.  The locking nuts and screws are Gotoh replacements.  Electronics are original. 

The maple neck is the Ibanez Wizard Carve and it's thin.  .68" at the first fret, .80" at the 12th with a 15" approx radius.  Fast and accessible.  The fretboard Looks like Wenge, but we're not certain.  It's in great shape and the frets are fantastic jumbos.  Very fast player.   The "Custom Made" Plaque shows up on guitar made in Japan by Custom order.  Someone Spec'd this out and Fujigen built it. 

It tips the scales at 8.21 lbs and is very well balanced.  A joy to play.   Comes safely packed in the original hardshell case with all working latches and hinges.
