Here's a Czakan (keyed recorder) marked Ln. Lot, Paris. We do not believe this to be Louis Lot of flute fame, and the connection of this maker to the Lot family is unclear. Instrument will need pad and keywork to be playable.
Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.
As this instrument is historically interesting we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner.
