The serial number of this guitar indicates that it was built in 1970 in Westerly Rhode Island. These Westerly Guilds are highly sought after for their tremendous build quality. This model boasts a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Honduran Mahogany back and sides. It has the typical wear and tear you’d expect from a 54 year old guitar but it sounds phenomenal. The top was separated at the center seam but was cleated by a professional luthier; does not affect tone or playability. Price is very competitive relatively firm since I’m paying for shipping. **gig bag included**
Serial # 50244
