This is a 1955 "series 3" post Big B, professional alto saxophone. It has had a recent repad and includes most, if not, all of the snaps and Norton springs. It plays top to bottom with a dark sound. I would recommend a large chamber mouthpiece. This horn was made prior to the selmer buy-out. It has the usual wear and tear associated with horns of this vintage including, but not limited to: fading lacquer, dings, scratches, scuffs, and smells of smoky jazz clubs. No Mouthpiece, no neck endplug. Comes with what appears to be the original case.
