Gibson Tom Petersson, Cheap Trick, 1959 Gibsonette GA-8, 8W 1x10" Combo Amplifier (TP #4) 1959 - Tan

Serial #114029

From our Tom Petersson, Cheap Trick collection. This little 1959 combo amp is in exceptional shape. Looks and sounds spectacular. This was part of Tom's amplifier collection used at his home studio.

Our tech gave this a thorough inspection and cleaning. Everything is working just like it's supposed to.

The final version of the GA-8 "Gibsonette" from the 1950's; the model would be reborn as the "Discoverer" for the space age decade in 1960. It is a small excellent sounding combo unit offering 8 watts output through a single Jensen 10" speaker. There are two inputs with controls as simple as can be: on-off switch, volume and tone. Just over 2200 of these high quality but affordable amps were shipped in 1959, making it one of the most successful in Gibson's line.

Includes a certificate of authenticity signed by Tom Pedersson.
