Pre-war D-18 style guitar made by luthier, Matthew Arcara. Patterned after a 1937 Martin, this guitar exhibits the power, volume, and clarity one would expect from the finest boutique-made flattops. I’m only selling it to raise funds for an opportunity to purchase a vintage instrument.
This guitar has been played, but remains in very good condition. It was built with an extra thin finish and “speed neck” (i.e. the finish on the back of the neck has been steel wooled to a matte texture—feels like an old guitar). There are only minor signs of usage—no big scrapes or blemishes, and no cracks. It was refretted by the builder approximately two years ago, with subsequent PLEK. Comes with a Superior brand black hard case.
