1985 Fender Japan E-Serial Stratocaster. The general consensus is that Kurt Cobain's Vandalism Strat was a black 1980's Japanese Fender FujiGen-built Stratocaster. Here is that guitar. This is right-handed not left, but it is basically the exact model that Kurt played.

This is the one to mod with the 'Vandalism' sticker, tape, pickups & 3-ply guard if you want real authenticity.

It also has some lovely light naturally earned vintage ageing. It's a rare chance to own the correct model. It's an MIJ E-serial built in 1985. Plays beautifully with a good acton. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, still plenty of life left in the frets. Very resonant with a dark and dense slab rosewood fingerboard (7.25 radius). No breaks or repairs. Weight 3.6kg. Has the dings and scuffs you'd expect for such an old Strat.

Complete with correct black-tipped tremolo arm and super cool vintage black Japanese Fender leatherette gig bag. Don't miss this one as these original 1980's Fender Japan Vandalism Strats don't come up often.
