Here is a choice piece.....A sweet, four digit serial number, Hamer Flame Maple Special in very good condition, with original hardware, pick ups and OHSC… the guitar has a beautiful one piece flame maple top over it's mahogany body with a patch of buckle rash on the back and a few dings here and there, most notably high up near the neck joint, (see photos) but no breaks or repairs. The guitar is in fine condition for it's venerable age, the truss rod functions as it should and the guitar plays smooth and clean up and down the comfortable C shaped neck which has minimal fret wear…the guitar is a choice example of Hamer’s high standards, attention to detail and excellent build quality in the early years…if you’re looking for a nice, original special you’ve found it.
