For sale is an RCA Type 50-A (MI-4030) Inductor Microphone that was used by individuals such as President Franklin Roosevelt and many more for public announcements! These microphones are often times not in the best shape, but this microphone looks fantastic. The sound you will expect from this microphone is an old school sound that rolls off the low end, just what you'd expect from the 50-A! This mic certainly has a rockabilly type sound that sounds nice and clear, lacking bass and requires more gain than modern mics like the SM7B. This is certainly a beautiful microphone and in excellent shape for being 90 or so years old, and it belongs in a museum!
