Tama Vintage Superstar 12 X 13 Rack Tom, Rare Jet Black, Birch Shell, Japan Made 1980s!

Here we have a beautiful vintage Tama Superstar 12 deep x 13  inch round rack tom.

Finished in rare original jet black gloss lacquer - not a wrap.

Big T badge. Serial numbers 15405910. Made in Japan from 198 -- the good stuff when Tama was was producing some of its finest drums.

The drum is in excellent original condition.

All birch shell. 

Jet black finish in very nice condition -- no cracks in the lacquer. Excellent gloss finish. No dents in the shell, no added holes. No broken hardware items. All components in excellent working order. All chrome finish hardware in excellent condition, no rust or pitting. Original lugs, hoops and tom mounting port.  Shell interior and bearing edges are in clean condition. Factory black shell interior. Original Tama badge and grommet in excellent condition, no bends and badge/grommet are secured firmly to the shell. 

Heads -- Remo coated batter head shows some wear but is still fully functional, original Tama clear resonate head. 

The drum tunes up nicely, holds its tune and delivers exceptional tone with very wide tuning range.

Use as a large rack tom or smaller mounted floor tom.
