Late '70s/ early '80s Siel Orchestra analog polysynth. Same keyboard as the ARP Quartet, which was this synth rebadged for the US market.

Cosmetically it’s decent, nothing too egregious. See photos. A few scuffs and scratches here and there, some pitting on the top panel but nothing impededing functionalty or likely to be noticed without close inspection.

Inside it's good to go, having been serviced at Wilberworkes by our own Will Puckett; if you know, you know- Will is an excellent tech who specializes in synths. Transformer was replaced with an appropriate one for 120VAC (was 230v, I bought it from a guy in Italy). Replaced faulty old power switch and fuse holder. Have all those OG parts if you want to move to Europe and take the old broken parts with you. Will also did a couple of other minor things to get it up to snuff and it works great.

Guaranteed to leave here as described. Sold as-is/ as-described- I can't make any guarantees that any vintage synth is going to live forever service-free. I can, however, confidently say that this synth is in great working order now. Will be well-packed and shipped insured. Shipping price is for the continental US. If actual shipping costs are significantly lower than listed, I will refund the difference. Outside of the US please contact me with an address BEFORE purchase.

Does tons of fun Portishead sounds, some Cure stuff, sounds super cool. Total horror soundtrack strings for days. Add a couple of pedals and get your Beak> on. Same as an ARP Quartet. I’d keep it if I didn’t have an Orchestra 2 and space limitations.

Video linked is of an ARP-badged version and was a big part of what convinced me to get this one. The live video of "Alle Sauvage" by Beak> on YouTube features a Siel-branded one, and is awesome. I'll try to make time to get video of this one soon. There's a video or two online of some pretty interesting mods for these, if you're adventurous and so inclined...and don't mind altering a vintage synth. Message me for links. Feel free to ask questions. This synth is great!
