1960s EKO COBRA XII 12-STRING ELECTRIC GUITAR- Made in Italy
This guitar is rough shape. Buyer purchases it "as is". There are no returns. This is a sixty-year-old guitar with grime, some dings, and parts that need to be replaced. It's a cool period piece that needs TLC, so please be aware of its imperfections before you decide to buy it.
In the '60s, 12-string electric guitars were hard to find. This Italian-made EKO dates to the 1960s, and it's really a pretty "forward-thinking" instrument for its time.
Though the neck is finished black, it's a 3-piece hard maple job with a good heavy-duty truss rod (adjustable at the base of the neck) installed. Note the zero fret -- very typical on European guitars. They can be useful when they're setup correctly (not taller than any of the other frets).
Note that the pickguard, besides being warped, has chipped-out on some corners. Pickup selectors are loose and need to be fixed or replaced. The bridge has some rust. Input jack is loose. Take a look at the photos for more details.
Comes with original case, which has some tears in the inner fabric lining.
