Delta D201 Module - Modified by Jim Williams (3 of 4)
This module has modifications performed on the full line level signal path and EQ sections - The Preamp section is original on this module - This section has not been modified.
The EQ Section—The lower mid-section of this module's EQ is unique. It seems to function more like a filter than the usual parametric EQ. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but it sounds really good, especially on bass and kick.
I did not have Jim modify this particular module. I purchased this one on Reverb premodified.
It works and sounds great. All the pots and buttons work. There's a little scratchy noise on a few, but nothing major or out of the ordinary—they need to be used and maybe a little Deoxit.
I love my Soundcraft boards, and with Jim's mods, they sound amazing! They're very clean and rich-sounding, with nice pres and a great EQ section! If you've ever considered upgrading your Delta, I can tell you that these mods make a huge difference and are worth every penny!
The module will ship fully insured through Reverb and will be packed safely.
