This is an old yet very well kept shakuhachi from the 40's. 1.6 key of 'E'. Jiari (refined bore). Without damage or repairs and in very good condition for the age. Utaguchi inlay is buffalo bone. Red usurshi lacquer. The flute comes with my Shakuhachi Beginner's Playing Guide. Suitable for play in the traditional ensemble with koto and shamisen.
