2003 Wal Mk2 4-string

Incredible bass -- best I've ever owned. But I'm primarily a guitar player and this has spent most of the last 13-14 years in its case. I still remember the thrill of first plugging it in and plucking the low E string. I'm a huge Tool/Justin Chancellor fan and it nails that sound, but I've found that it's really versatile between the two pickups and all the tone sculpting from the push/pull knobs. It also has the best of both worlds -- the Mk2 body shape and headstock, but with the Mk3 neck joint.

It has some signs of use/age, including small scratches and bumps, some of the bridge plating coming off, etc. -- see photos -- but in overall very good condition. Frets are in great shape. Comes in original Hiscox hard case, which is in great shape (one shallow bump on the top, pictured). Also included are the truss rod and bridge adjustment tools, which I purchased from Wal a few years ago.

Specs/features

*Claro walnut ("clarra walnut") facings over mahogany core

*Fretted ebony fretboard, 24 frets

*Mk2 Body & Headstock

*Mk3 neck joint

*Lightly tinted neck
