Up for sale is this vintage 1982 Hamer Special electric guitar husk project. This one will require parts and work, so please read the entire description and see all of the photos. It is sold "AS IS".
This instrument took a hit at some point, resulting in an ugly, but solid and smooth, headstock repair. The neck joint took trauma as well and was pulling under tension, which means it will require attention to be stable as a player. There are a few small cracks coming off of the neck pocket which are pictured.
The neck is straight and the truss rod works as it should. The frets show wear, but have a lot of life left in them. The original finish shows numerous dings, dents, scuffs, scratches, and chips.
This listing includes the wood, the back plate and the strap buttons. Basically, what you see in the photos is what you get and no other parts are included.
The original hardshell Hamer case is included and is in nice condition, although it does show some wear. The instrument will be well-packed inside to ensure safe shipping.
