Rickenbacker 4003 Bass Ex-Black Crowes 1982 - Autumn Glow

1982 Rick 4003 Bass. Tons of real vintage patina and wear. Bass plays perfectly with low action, little fret wear. Strung with TI flats. I believe most of the bass is stock aside from possibly the neck pickup. The E-string tuner has had a solid repair done to it. The bridge has 2 mounting screws that were added Im assuming to keep the back of the bridge from pulling up (this seems to be a common problem with old Ric bridges). The screws were added properly and cleanly. Truss rods function smoothly. The mounting plate for the bridge pickup looks to be turned around from the normal position but this is a factory error as there are no screw holes under the plate that would indicate the plate was turned around. Most importantly the bass sounds amazing and plays awesome. 
This bass formerly belonged to Sven Pipien of the Black Crowes. He played and toured with it extensively. He actually played this exact bass on Late Night with David Letterman. I can share a link to a YouTube link with those interested. Bass comes with a signed letter and photo of Sven. The original case has some cool touring decals on it also. The case is missing the handle but I’ll include a replacement handle for the new owner to install. Sven’s original flats and bridge cover are also included.
