I bought this years ago with the intention of making it a finger style player. It reminded me of Blind Willie Johnson...I lately decided not to do that to this guitar. , One bridge pin I replaced, and a loose brace glued (with hide glue) other than that the guitar is totally original - bridge, tuners, end pin.The finish is outstanding for a 100 year guitar. Play it as is with a slide, it sounds awesome or go ahead and lower the nut and deal with the paper on the fret-board. The neck is straight and would need a neck set to meet the bridge. The bracing is shaped not massive this is a very elegant piece. The finish shows some alligator typical of this era also the neck shows some finish marks from being hung by a cord. There is a small crack by the neck and sound hole with a photo shown.
