In my book, this is one of the coolest basses there is. I just love the offset body with that German carve.
Mosrites are known for their thin and narrow necks and this one is no exception. Paired with super low action, this bass basically plays itself. A guitar player will feel right at home with this one as well as a bass player wanting something different and more easily played. Of course the action can be raised if wanted.
This is a player grade bass with original pickups and electronics. The Ventures logo has been removed from the headstock and the body has been refinished a long time ago. The overall vibe today is that of a nicely worn in player and you can still make out some nice checkings underneath, making us believe that the original finish is still there under the refin.
It has the classic M-notched headstock with “duck foot” tuners. Metal nut with zero fret, a bound rosewood fretboard. Two original pickups and a four saddle bridge, with rosewood/aluminum string anchor. The knobs are new Schaller knobs.
It’s been converted to a 3 bolt neck that now sits rock solid in the pocket. The original tort pickguard and bridge cover comes included.
