Chris Locke 5150 Tribute Guitar Van Halen Replica Frankenstrat

Here is a Chris Locke built and painted 5150 tribute guitar which is originally built for a guitarist in a well known Van Halen tribute band. The body is a Chris Locke 5150 body in basswood and the neck is his 5150 neck in maple made to the exact specifications as Eddie's 5150 neck (Chris Locke worked with Donny Ward to get the neck specifications as close as humanly possible to Eddie's 5150 neck). Comes with a Floyd Rose 1984 reissue tremolo (Made in Germany) with big brass block. The pickup is a Dimarzio 36th Anniversary PAF. I had a Seymour Duncan 59 in this guitar originally (as that is what most think was in Eddie's 5150 guitar in 1984, before he put a JB in it later on) but after A/B-ing it against this Dimarzio 36th Anniversary PAF, the Dimarzio just flat out sounded better. Also comes with a replica Kramer B4129 neck plate, just like Eddie's. The guitar is very lightweight and in excellent used condition, with minor blemishes here and there, but nothing major (see photos). The guitar really plays great, with nice low action. Comes with hard shell case show in photos. The interior strap which holds the case top at a 90 degree angle when opened snapped off so the top opens up 180 degrees now; however, the case functions perfectly otherwise when closed and protects the guitar as it should.
