Here is a vintage 1958 Les Paul Goldtop Standard that's been incredibly restored and refinished by Historic Makeovers. They did an incredible job matching the color from the period, the dark back, and re-applying the serial number. The guitar was recently found poorly refinished in "all gold" and in need of some unusual restoration, so I sent it to Kim and his crew who did a killer job. The guitar has two Pat# humbuckers in it right now, they sound great, and if you have a set of real PAFs that might be even better (although I can't personally tell the difference). No breaks or cracks. The tuners, frets, ABR-1 and stop-tailpiece are original to the guitar. The pots and caps are StewMac, and the surrounds and knobs are vintage repros. To upgrade those parts I'll leave it up to the buyer. Its a great guitar, neck feels amazing, weighs under 9 lbs, and sounds awesome. Its a long story, so for all the details please write or call.
