Kay Terz Guitar
Made in the USA, a late 50's -Early 60's Kay Terz 3/4 Parlor Guitar. Condition is very good with wear you would expect on a guitar 60 years old. A few nick in the finished with some wear in places on the binding. Excellent player, neck is at a good angle, it has been re-fretted and the action is set at about 2mm. The intonation is very good for a small scale guitar. It is currently set up with light gauge strings 12's and tuned in E. To use as a Terz guitar tuned to G or A I would put on extra light 10's. It has a narrow nut and the neck is typical Kay, just a bit of chunk to it but less than most due to it's size. It is fun to play and has a surprisingly big sound for a small body guitar.
An excellent guitar for around the campfire or as a first guitar for a young one to begin learning. It plays easy and will last for years and years.
