This is an original 1961 ash body with a 1969 neck. I'm not the original owner, so I'm not sure how the guitar ended up in this state. However, I did have James LeClair (Nels Cline of Wilco plays his guitars) refinish the ash body in a lightly reliced shell pink and he confirmed that the body and neck are indeed originals from their respective years. James also gave this guitar a fresh set up strung with '12s to give it that authentic 60s sound. It comes with a very old case. Not sure if it's the original case, but it is definitely from the same era (see pics).
