Just in time for the 2019 music festival season!

Here we have a 1930 (I think) Vegavox III Plectrum banjo restored and customized by famed banjo luthier Renee Karns in 2004. Over 95 hours of documented labor went into this  project. This banjo features a daisychain resonator, hand carved neck heel, ivoroid binding, BWB wood inlay, gold pegs, gold glitter inlay, curly maple wood veneer, and extensive redone gold plating.

This banjo was purchased and commissioned by my physician father who received it in 2004 and passed away in 2005. It has hardly left its case since then (I do not play) and I believe it to be one of the finest examples around.

If you have any questions please ask and I will add any further information I might gather.
