.155 Straight Stress Relief Jackets are made for .155 cable, however you can trim the top of the jacket (at the taper) to accommodate the .255 cable. The jackets cannot be used on speaker plugs.
About George L's Stress Relief Jackets/Caps – Stress relief jackets (straight/stretch plugs) or caps (right-angle plugs) help prevent the tugging force on a cable from being applied to the cable/plug connection. They also provide a means to color-code cables and provide styling choices. The jackets and caps are considered optional in the George L's system but they are inexpensive and help increase the reliability of your cables, so we recommend them.
