Recreation of the preamp section of the Intersound IVP Instrument Preamp, made famous by Steve Albini in his various bands. Very sharp, crunchy, tube-like overdrive along with a wide, adjustable EQ range. Uses a small 42TM018 transformer to create it's sound, a part very rarely used in pedals.
It sounds best when the gain and EQ knobs aren't fully cranked; transformer-based circuits tend to cause volume drops when strings are plucked at high gain settings.
It's got a fair amount of scratches on it, along with a scuff to the paint near the Volume knob, but it functions just fine. Takes 9V DC center-negative power supply, no internal battery compartment.
