Daion Mark XX Power Series in transparent green.
This series was made by Daion of Japan from 1980-1984. This was Daion's top of the line solid body electric. Suggested retail was $799 for this model back in the early 80s.
Rosewood knobs were only available in 1980 & early 1981 and are quite rare and desirable. Other specs from period literature:
- 9 piece maple and rosewood neck through construction
- Ebony fingerboard and brass dot position markers
- Humbuckers with triple screw anti-tilt
- Mini toggle coil tap switches
- Brass nut & saddle
- Ivory celluloid binding
- Heavy duty Rotomatic-type machine heads
Includes used Daion branded hard case (as pictured)
Maintenance performed: body buffed; bridge components completely disassembled, cleaned and screws oiled; tuners cleaned; frets polished; fretboard cleaned and oiled; electronics checked; new strings.
Being a ~40 year old used vintage instrument the finish will not be perfect - there will be signs of use and imperfections. If you have questions, please ask before purchasing.
