This is a used Korean-made Burns 62 Reissue Bison (2001-2002). All Burns guitars have a distinct look and musical pedigree, and this Bison is a particularly cool mix of features, with a Gibson-scale neck and strat-style tremolo and pickup arrangement. But it's no knock-off; it's designed with a unique flair. And its look is not the only thing special about it. Pros like Brian May of Queen use Burns' unique "Tri-Sonic" pickups in his "Red Special" & the array of knobs on the Bison allows you to play the pickups either in series or parallel, and with a variety of tonal choices.

Its got dimples, dents, and scars (see pics) from plenty of travel and playing time; it's missing the back plate, and the screws to the truss rod cover (have the cover, not the screws ). All this brings it down to "Good" condition, but also makes it a bargain for someone who wants a show-stopper of a unique axe that they aren't afraid to take out and PLAY!!! My price reflects its well-played condition, and you won't find a Bison RI for less.

Because of the Bison's wide body, finding a non-Burns case that fits is a difficult task. This one comes with an after-market, non-Burns hard case that fits quite well (bonus!).

I will ship UPS ground. Shipping is free; guitar will ship within 3 business days of your purchase.
