This is a beautiful Limited Edition '56 Relic from the Fender Custom Shop. This build is an early '56 spec with an ash body. It also features hand-wound '56 pickups with a reverse wound reverse polarity (RWRP) middle pickup, giving you hum cancelling operation in the 2 and 4 positions. The lovely faded ocean turquoise finish is lacquer and lightly aged, with the finish worn entirely off the back of the neck.

We really love ash body maple neck Strats. This guitar is clear and articulate acoustically, with resonance and sustain for days. It's slinky, vibrant, and easy to navigate. The hand-wound pickup set is simply fantastic, it's really the mojo that makes this Ltd special. The pickups are strong, bold, and glassy. The guitar also features the vintage mod wiring #2 where the middle tone knob works for the middle and neck pickups, and the lower tone knob works for the bridge pickup, along with a master volume and 5-way switch.

The neck has a 10/56 V shape which you'd expect to find, and a 9.5" radius with 6105 frets that keeps this playing modern. It looks like a brand new piece, and doesn't seem to have been played much at all yet. The wear all appears to be factory aging.
