Aerodyne Jazz Bass Body

These Aerodynes are amazing, beautifully contoured fingerprint magnets. To address this, the top was coated by me with 3 coats of satin lacquer and sanded smooth. Overspray of the clear satin on sides makes this guitar very good instead of excellent, and the lucky new owner can polish to gloss if so desired. The OEM pickups lacked a bit, so they were upgraded to best new passive PJ Lindy Fralin PU set available, along with new CTS pots, orange drop cap, a new BADASS II bridge, ebonized rosewood thumbrest, TI Flats, and top hat knobs w pointers because the beautiful contours suggest it. Minor imperfections.

The headstock face was professionally refinished from Sherwood Green to clear and proper decals re-applied so it would appear as if from factory. Note to interested shoppers: I have documentation demonstrating reputable expert pro neck (headstock face) refinish that I can share upon request furnished to me by original owner who had the work done upon purchase of neck. Appears correct to me, but if that is important please inspect photos accordingly.

Frets like new (polished, perfect).

Truss rod, original Fender lollipop tuning machines - all excellent.

Overall
It’s a PJ with Lindy’s best pickups. It is everything you want from a PJ except no drop d tuner. Hangs perfectly balanced with 3” leather strap.

The full sized pots are a tight fit. Everything works to perfection on this bass from components to set up to mechanical to electrical. There have been no issues. Stable smooth playing neck.
