David Lynch / John Neff - 1998 Fender Telecaster Transperformance AxCent Tuning Guitar w/ 350 Different Tunings!

This is a stock 1998 US Fender American Telecaster, w/OHSC and Transperformance / AxCent tuning system. All tunings are created in the analog realm. The bridge saddles move up and down. There are stock library and user library of up the 350 tunings.

In perfect working condition. Transperformance is now called Axcent and they are located in Colorado if you ever need repairs or updates in the future.

Many guitar legends have this system for studio and songwriting work. Not many out in the wild due to it's original extreme cost of installation of approx $11,000 minus the cost of your guitar in 2025 dollars.

Players such as Peter Frampton, Jimmy Page, Graham Nash, Pete Townsend, etc and many more. EVH also had one. Jimmy played his on the Led Zeppelin reunion and Coverdale projects.

This guitar was previously owned by filmmaker David Lynch and veteran musician John Neff (Steely Dan, Steppenwolf, Journey)  

It was used on the David Lynch / John Neff BlueBOB album as well as some live dates. David's personal alternate tunings are still in the first couple of banks which you can see in the pictures.

David used this Transperformance Tele for the majority of the BlueBOB album and following European dates. He later gave it to John as a moving present for their longstanding collaborations in film and TV work.

It is currently owned by guitarist Cameron Morgan whom recorded at David Lynch's studio in the mid 2000's with David Lynch's longtime muse Chrystabell for the sessions that became the David Lynch produced "This Train."

Through this association, Cameron later met John Neff. Both had moved to Portland around the same time in 2008 and became friends.

Since John knew that Cameron was a longtime endorser (see attached list) of the Transperformance / AxCent Tuning System and already owned 2 Transperformance / AxCent related guitars, he offered to sell David's Fender Telecaster Transperformance guitar for his retirement in 2019.
