Here's a VERY RARE Selmer Paris New Large Bore Baritone Saxophone. WOW!
Early Selmer baris are as rare as hen's teeth. What a great horn - classic sound and early Selmer keywork make this a player that is equally at home in jazz or classical settings. Condition-wise, this horn is a survivor. Appear to be unlacquered, bell has been polished at some point. Appears to have a repaired pickup port in the neck. However, it had a 2020 overhaul by Jack Finucane - we did some minor adjustments, and it plays very well. Grab this horn!
Provenance: The Robert Howe collection. Dr. Robert Howe is a well known researcher and historian of woodwind instruments and spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer instruments from this collection for sale.
