Rare opportunity to own this vintage 1966 Yamaha G1 baby grand in pristine condition.

Has been meticulously cared for over the years, since I took ownership it has been serviced and maintained by a Steinway tech and tuner. He said it’s the best sounding and best condition Yamaha he’s seen, and I agree.

This piano has a rich history - it originally belonged to NYC jazz legend Lenny Metcalf. I purchased the piano from his wife after he passed (she even gave me a photo of him when I bought it). I am only the second owner since 1966. The piano has been professionally played and maintained it’s whole life, it has that classic Yamaha attack and crystal clear highs with the balanced warmth and rich fullness, a feat most Yamaha’s can not achieve.

I will pay for delivery in Brooklyn, Queens or Manhattan (ground floor). Buyers outside NYC please arrange your own shipping. Contact me before buying to arrange payment and shipping details.

Message me with any questions, or to schedule a time to meet and play the piano. Thank you.
