Memphis made some entry, intermediate and pro level Strats. Ive owned and played all the differnt levels, this one falls in the upper half. not as nice as my solid mahogany with highly flamed maple neck, grey bobbin pickup Memphis Strat, never seen another one like it, and was told it was a custom ordered guitar.  I own three of these metallic finished Memphis Strats, and total my collection has grown to 8 Memphis guitars/basses. they are great MIJ guitars on par with Greco and Tokai.  Note the script logo which indicates, an early MIJ model. not to be compared to the later cheaper built guitars.
Plays really well and sounds great.
Maple neck very nice, low fret wear, electronics perfect.
Nice vintage yellowing on knobs and pickup covers
Body is overall very very good with just two or three slight blemishes
STRATOCASTER sounds.
