Pr Vintage Altec 1570B Triode Tube Power Amps, 160 Watts RMS, 1960s USA. They will need complete restoration/repair/upgrading/tubes, faceplates, bottom covers but do come with the top covers. They have been stored for many years inside a climate controlled environment and were on the list for upgrading/improvements, but never happened. These are known for their excellent sound, musicality, transparency, imaging and natural sound. They have some small nicks, dings, , surface oxidation on the transformers which is typical. The transformers are good/checked and these amps are ready for modifications and improvements. One amp has what looks like is a plastic sleeve on the side of the amp and I will let the buyer remove it. They were removed from working service many years ago. They have the original superb quality Peerless transformers, point to point wiring. These are well known in the Audio Community for their excellent performance and power. They are 160 Watt Mono Triode Tube amps. They will be sold AS Described, not working, missing parts, need repair, upgrades, modifications. Any work done on these amplifiers should only be by a qualified experienced tube Audio Tech, as they have lethal voltages inside. See pictures and ask questions. They have excellent Potential.
