This is a used, vintage 3/4-size violin labeled:

"Ernst Heinrich Roth, Markneukirchen 1952, Antonius Stradivarius, #143-52 Cremona 1700", with no other markings or brandings visible inside the violin.

The violin is in very good condition with only normal wear to the varnish with no visible cracks or damage. The violin recently received a professional set up in our shop with new, quality components including Pirastro Tonica strings, a Despiau French bridge, new soundpost and a Wittner German tailpiece with 4 fine tuners. The violin was also professionally cleaned and adjusted. The tone is open and even, with good volume and projection. The violin also includes a pernambuco bow stamped SIVORI, which was also refurbished in our shop with a new wire grip, thumb leather and fresh hair. The vintage shaped case is in good condition with normal wear, and bears the mark of Ernst Heinrich Roth. These items were purchased together from the original owner, and are all original to each other. The SIVORI brand of bow is a good quality German-made shop bow and was from the Roth family of products. The playing characteristics of this bow pair well with this particular violin, and the bow alone has a retail value of approximately $400. This entire violin outfit is being offered for the price of $1,195 plus shipping. This is a final sale with no returns, refunds or exchanges. If interested in auditioning this violin in person before purchasing, please call Jay of KR Bachelder Violins of Naperville, IL at 630.355.0008 to schedule an appointment.
