This rare and ancient ARP 1601 Sequencer is in good working and decent cosmetic condition. It came to us DOA, and we cleaned it up, fixed some old damaged traces on the board and got it up and running quite nicely. The old, imprecise sliders have now all been replaced with a brand new set from Synthchaser. The quantized outputs make it easy to program sequences that are in tune- useful for those live Berlin-school jams! As you can see in the video, it works a treat and is blast to play with.
You're welcome to pick it up locally, but if we're shipping it, we'll have it professionally packed and shipped by a local store we trust. Insured, of course! This instrument is four decades old and like any other vintage electronic instrument, it's delicate and has imperfections. As such, I'm selling it as is, no returns. Please be aware of the potential risks in buying, shipping, and maintaining an antique electronic instrument. The video was made right before we put it up for sale and as you can see, it is working now, but I cannot guarantee it won't need servicing after shipping.
