Here it is. A beautiful custom Frog 5 string in ash with padouk fingerboard and padouk encased pickups. A real looker and a dream to play.
The ash body is ergonomic and gorgeous with the open grain. It's obvious it was designed by a bass player for a bass player. Excellent balance and feel.
Now for the tone. Extremely versatile due to the Delano 3-band preamp and dual coil Bassculture pickups. High end equipment here.
• Active/passive push/pull on volume knob
• Bass boost/cut
• Mid boost/cut
• Treble boost/cut
• Treble knob doubles as passive tone control
• Three-way mini switches for serial/parallel/single coil tapping for each pickup
• Pickup pan
• Individual string monorail bridge
• 34" scale
• 18mm string spacing
This thing is a tone monster. Killer combination.
Bass is in like-new condition. I don't think there's a mark on it. The pickup pan pot is slightly scratchy but only when you turn it while playing notes. Silent otherwise.
Will ship with like new heavily padded Maruszczyk gig bag case which is really nice.
