Official story: Pig Hoof is a replica of the Big Muff Pi (BMP) model, that was manufactured by Electro Harmonix around mid 70's under nickname "Ram's Head". If you are into the Big Muff history we advise you to visit this brilliant and comprehensive Kitrae's site. As David Gilmour devoted fans, we were just obliged to make our own Ram's Head clone. David purchased his model in around 1975 in Manny's, NY. In 1977 (during the Animals tour) the Ram's became his main distortion pedal, retiring the old silicon Fuzz Face for good. Since we were lucky enough to put our fingers on an original Ram's Head unit, we used that opportunity to gradually tweak the sound of our own prototype, so that it eventually sounded identical to the old guy.

Unit is practically brand new, 2016 production, comes with the original box.
