I ordered this neck kind of blindly, never having played a Warmoth neck. I went with their most popular profile options and discovered that I absolutely do not like them. The 43mm nut and standard thin neck carve are not my thing.
This neck is amazing otherwise. It feels incredible, the finish work was done perfectly and feels great as a nice satin nitro. The relic was done nicely and has organic playing elements incorporated instead of the usual full strip relic jobs. The relic is also under a thin skin clear coat, which something that separates it from other relics I have played. The only negative about this neck is the one tuner hole got reemed slightly oblong. It’s not an issue and the vintage style Kluson’s cover it, but I had to mention it. It had a logo on it, but I’ve since removed it. The wood is sanded and raw so you can nitro it or oil it or relic it or do whatever you wish to the headstock. I included a picture of the spec sheet. If you’re wondering how it feels in hand, the profile reminds me a Fender American Professional. At least in my opinion. I also rolled the fretboard board to give it a far better feel and try to like it. But it’s still not my thing. At this point, I’m selling it at a loss and need it out of here so I can get a replacement for a project that’s on hold. I am just going to post the price at what I need to get the new neck. So come grab it and I will ship it out ASAP. If you have any questions let me know! Thanks for looking!
